WINGS
Depending upon your origination point, several airports offer options.
Reno/Tahoe International
The closest to South Lake Tahoe, RTI is served by most major carriers from cities throughout the US and Canada.
Sacramento International Airport
At only 2.5 hours away, Sacramento is another option and offers a variety of carriers to fly.
Lake Tahoe Airport
A year-round all weather facility with professional services for the general aviation and corporate executive traveler. Less than 15 minutes from the heart of Lake Tahoe’s South Shore.
Other Alternatives
San Francisco International, Oakland International and San Jose International provide additional access from Northern California.

WHEELS
Whether you’re embarking from the airport or your own driveway, vehicle travel to South Lake is simple.
Automobile
From Reno take Hwy. 395 South through Carson City. Then Hwy. 50 West directly to South Lake Tahoe.
From Sacramento take Hwy. 50 East through Placerville, over Echo Summit into South Lake Tahoe.
From San Francisco/Bay Area take I-80 East to Hwy. 50 East at Sacramento. Then through Placerville, over Echo Summit into South Lake Tahoe.
From San Jose/East Bay you have two options: Take I-680 North to I-580 East to Hwy. 205 East. Then to I-5 North to Sacramento. Then follow directions from Sacramento, above.
Or
Take I-680 North to I-80 East. Follow directions from Sacramento above.
From Los Angeles Take I-5 North to Sacramento, then follow above directions from Sacramento.

BUS & SHUTTLE

South Tahoe Express carries guests from Reno-Tahoe International
